The week of April 8th-12th is the Week of the Young Child. WOYC is an annual celebration sponsored by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) to recognize the importance of the early childhood years. As part of our celebration we will be giving parents the opportunity to “take 5 minutes” to spend with their child in the form of a short activity to do together each afternoon at pick up. We will end the week with Pancakes for Parents on Friday, April 12th. If you are free please join us! Easter Egg Hunt We will begin taking donations of pre-filled plastic easter eggs starting the beginning of April. Our all-school Easter egg hunt will take place on Washburn campus on Thursday, April 19th. Don't forget your easter basket! Track and Field Day UCD’s annual Track and Field Day is Tuesday, April 23 at Washburn’s Yager Stadium. Please dress your child in weather-appropriate, easy to be active in clothing.
